Ofsted is the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills. We inspect and regulate services that care for children and young people, and services providing education and skills for learners of all ages. Every week, we carry out hundreds of inspections and regulatory visits throughout England and publish the results online. Our goal is to achieve excellence in education and skills for learners of all ages, and in the care of children and young people. We report directly to Parliament and we are independent and impartial.

The Work Place Wellbeing Charter

The Charter is a national workplace health, safety and wellbeing award, established in 2009, which has helped well over 1000 organisations benchmark against best-practice standards. The accreditation includes a range of staff interviews and an audit across eight standards: Leadership, Absence Management, Health and Safety, Mental Health, Smoking, Physical Activity, Healthy Eating and Alcohol. Organisations receive certification and recognition as an employer of choice, plus advice and recommendations on how to make improvements as part of a comprehensive post-assessment report.
